Our Story
Founded by Russell Videgrain, a master craftsman with over 16 years of industry experience, R-V Stonemasons combines traditional Jersey methods with modern reliability.
RV Stonemasons was founded by Russell Videgrain, in 2020 following a decade working in the industry. Having gained invaluable experience in all types of stonework, through working on some of Jersey's most prestigious developments, I bring my passion for perfection & a wealth of knowledge & experience in every project I undertake.
From restoring centuries-old granite fireplaces and chimneys to building new boundary walls, pillars and entrances, every job gets the same care. We specialise in Jersey granite and in matching existing stonework, so restorations look as though they have always been there.
We are committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and maintaining a clean, professional worksite at all times. Every stone tells a story, and we make sure it's told right.

How We Work
Heritage work is done like for like with traditional lime, often mixed by Russell himself, so old granite walls can breathe and last.
Years of sourcing Jersey granite mean new work and repairs sit seamlessly alongside the original stone.
Regular updates from start to finish, with photos when you are off island, so you always know where the job is.
Work areas are cleared every day and left spotless at the end. Your home is treated with respect throughout.
Every project starts with a free, no-obligation visit and a clear quote and timeline before any work begins.
Comprehensive public liability cover on every job, from a small repair to a full restoration.

Testimonials
“R-V Stonemasons did a great job lime pointing three internal granite walls for us over the summer. Russell listened to what we wanted and went the extra mile by sourcing materials we suggested from his yard. The end result looks fantastic. Russell is very reliable and provided great updates about the progress of the work. This was the second project R-V Stonemasons has done for us and we will definitely ask him back for the next one. Thanks for the hard work, highly recommended.”
“R-V Stonemasons has to be the top granite specialist in the Channel Islands. Russell always goes beyond what is asked of him. He is clean, tidy professional and his attention to detail is second to none. He has incredibly high standards and is an incredibly skilled craftsman. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing granite work.”
“Repointed the gable and chimney of our granite cottage as we had leaks. Russell is reliable, professional, and tidy. The new lime pointing looks great and there are no more leaks.”
